Fields covered with ever-mist

upon their crumbling corpses

than my own knife on my throat
And the dust lingers around my legs,
air heavy on my shoulders

Masses of clouds hang low,
heaven drags on the ground
Time itself ceases to exist
in the gray nothingness

Ages ago I lowered my shield
